About the Tour:
Welcome to this opportunity to deeply immerse yourself and experience the authentic practice of Āyurveda, as followed in India. Over the course of ten days, we will visit I-AIM Āyurvedic hospital dedicated to the management of chronic ailments with classical Āyurvedic treatment. You will observe the original Pañcakarma therapy as performed at Indian Āyurvedic hospitals with hands-on training in Āyurvedic bodywork techniques. We will also tour the renowned botanical garden at Transdisciplinary University (TDU) established by FRLHT, a National Center of Excellence for Traditional Medicinal Plants. Learn about methods of conservation, collection, and use of medicinal plants. Session on the clinical application of these herbs including case studies and practical application of Āyurveda Biology in practice.
We will also visit a well-known Āyurvedic Pharmaceutical Unit that produces Āyurvedic formulations supplied around the world. This will be followed by Bangalore city sightseeing, to enjoy the natural beauty of India's Garden City.
This ten day educational tour aims at enriching your experience with Āyurveda as a licensed medical science, as it is practiced in India.

Eligibility for Educational Tour:
The tour has been created for those who have completed an Āyurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) and enrolled in an Āyurvedic Practitioner (AP) training or equivalent. Many of the topics of discussion including medicinal herbs, case studies and Pañcakarma treatment techniques are advanced topics. Hence prior exposure to these advanced topics will make it easier to engage in the discussion.

Cancellation Policy
Once you register for this retreat your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. All subsequent retreat payments, not including your deposit, are transferrable with permission of the retreat leader in the event you need to transfer your spot to another guest. In case of a transfer occurring, a financial exchange will happen between the said registrant and the replacement guest. While we realize “life happens,” our policies are FIRM, as we have limited spots for this tour. Should a prospective guest need to cancel 80 days or more in advance of the tour start, there is a 50% refund, minus deposit. Within 80 days, there is no refund on international tours, unless you are able to find someone to fill your space.
Refund Policy
More than 100 days prior to the educational tour start date, registration payment minus the initial deposit will be returned to the registrant. Within 100-80 days prior to the tour start date, 50 percent of registration, minus the initial deposit, will be issued to the registrant. Cancellations made less than 80 days prior to the retreat start date will result in no refund to the registrant unless you can fill your space, in which case a financial exchange will happen between the said registrant and the replacement guest. Non- refundable deposit is NON-TRANSFERABLE to another registrant. In the event that a refund is required, the participant will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation.
Cancellation on the day of departure or during the retreat will result in no refund. No refund for unused portions of retreat, including, but not limited to, missed meals, hotel nights, and sightseeing. Cancellation of the program by Boston Ayurveda Inc. results in a full refund. Cancellation of the program due to acts of war, weather, or any other Act of God will result in no refund to registrants. Boston Ayurveda Inc. accepts no liability for any airline or train cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable airline or trains ticket to the destination or return to the US.
